Hello team!
I have been focusing on my work and personal life, and fell well behind on the homework. The work now includes health care, Y Worlds, agriculture and renewable energy projects. The agriculture projects are most likely to overlap what we are doing as a team over the next few weeks.
I will try to get caught up on the study materials this weekend, to be ready to contribute to the team project.
Regards,

Thinking big or very compact
So interesting to read about you, Shereen & Holly! And hilarious to find out that Holly's got a very similar (circular) take on the Bloom's model than I.
I'm Esko, a 46-year old man, father, husband, and a cat-servant. I train teachers and teacher trainees on social media, mobile learning and new learning environments as a member of the new Learning Solutions team in a Finnish vocational institute.
I came to this MOOC as I was curious to know how Stanford arranges one – we are considering organizing a similar course ourselves. As I've got other courses underway, I wanted to assist a team that serve to fulfill someone else's dream.
In such a limited time we've got, I guess thinking very big or very compact might be the best options: either to vision a scenario or to keep it very basic and concrete.

This is me...
Hello!
I am Holly. I am 37 years old and married with two daughters. I teach English to Grades 6-12. I am originally from the UK and taught there before starting my international adventure, where I have been teaching in Qatar and then Malaysia. I am currently in a new start-up school in Singapore.
I am qualified in Google Apps for Education, currently training for certification as a Project Based Learning teacher and Flat Classroom Project teacher; I plan to start my masters in educational technology next year. I like learning :)
I am interested in the difference between the way I was taught and the way kids learn now. I am interested in exploring what a 21st century classroom is and have just launched a PBL project asking that very question with my Grade 7 and Grade 8 classes, who are undertaking it as a flat classroom style project across the grade levels. This project is authentic; I was asked to write and deliver it by senior management who have promised they will implement the best design!
I decided to take this course to learn more and to be able to support my classes. I love collaborating with other schools - my Grade 7s are currently Quadblogging with schools from Singapore, USA, UK and Australia - and I like collaborating with other teachers. I hope we can all learn from each other.
Here are some links to some of my stuff if you are interested :)

Giant Leap towards the Future
Well, at least this is an example what our Creating the Future team blog might be like. I'll add another page just for those unfamiliar to Blogger would get an idea what it is like (see tab above). Comments?
For now
By the way, adding your own voice does not work in Mac/Safari. I had to change to Firefox to get my own voice to Voki.
